After two huge performances in Xavier's last two games, Grad Student Quincy Olivari takes home the Naismith Award and Big East Player of the Week Honors for the week of Jan 29th through Feb 3rd.

In two games vs St. John's and DePaul Olivari averaged 33 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game including a career-high 43 point game on the road at DePaul on Saturday evening. Olivari also played 35 minutes in that game picking up ten rebounds and zero turnovers.

Olivari's 43 point performance is the second highest scoring game by a Xavier player this century just behind former AP Player of the Year and two-time NBA Champion David West's 47 point game vs Dayton in February 2003.

Xavier's next game will be on Wednesday Feb 7th when they host the Villanova Wildcats at the Cintas Center, Tip-Off will be at 7PM EST and broadcast on FS1.
