Xavier extends Head Coach Sean Miller Through the 2028-29 Season

Going into the second season of Sean Miller's return campaign to Cintas Center, Xavier has decided to extend their commitment coming off such a successful season.

Xavier added two more years to Millers contract extending him through the 2028-29 season.

When asked about the extension by goxavier.com, Miller had this to say:

"I appreciate the support of (Xavier University President) Dr. (Colleen) Hanycz, Greg Christopher, and the Xavier community for our program and our coaching staff," said Miller. "We are proud of the season we had last year and even more excited about the future. Xavier's tradition and the BIG EAST Conference have always held special places in my heart. We are competing in the best league and on the biggest stage in college basketball. We have a big challenge ahead but there is no place where I would rather be."

Xavier is coming off of a Sweet 16 campaign, and went 15-5 in Big East play.

Xavier opens the season on Monday, November 6th at the Cintas Center vs Robert Morris.
