Wes Miller Adds Mamdou N'Diaye to Staff
After weeks of speculation, Wes Miller has announced the addition of Mamdou N'Diaye to his staff to replace the void left by the departure of Drew Adams to Indiana.
"We are thrilled to welcome Mamadou N'Diaye to Cincinnati," said Miller in the official press release. "His experience at every level of basketball makes him a tremendous asset to our program. He's not only a respected coach, but also an elite mentor and recruiter. Our team and staff will benefit greatly from his leadership and knowledge of the game."
N'Diaye was on staff at UCF last season. Prior to UCF, N'Diaye served as an assistant coach at Georgia Tech (2014-2016), San Francisco (2019-2021), and Coastal Carolina (2011-2013). While at Georgia Tech, he also served as an assistant with current UC assistant, Chad Dollar.
As a player, N'Diaye starred at Auburn from 1996 to 2000, earning All-SEC honors and helping the Tigers to an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 1999. He was selected 26th overall in the 2000 NBA Draft and played five seasons in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, and Los Angeles Clippers before playing six seasons in international basketball.
"I am incredibly excited to join Coach Miller and the Bearcats family," said N'Diaye. "Cincinnati has a proud basketball tradition, and I look forward to helping this program continue its ascent in the Big 12 and on the national stage."
