Key Takeaways:
- Satterfield mentions that All American defensive tackle Dontay Corleone is still day to day but continues to work out with the team.
- Towson is a team that has a capable running back but will want to test Cincinnati's new secondary and put the ball in the air.
- Cam Roetherford and Kamari Burns are two who could fill the void left by Corleone. Roetherford has had an outstanding off season.
- Secondary has grown a lot during the off season and is a group that has improved significantly compared to last season with the new faces added
- First goal this season is to "defend the Nip." Satterfield says Nippert Stadium is a great homefield advantage and should be a place opposing teams worry about playing at because it is a tough environment.
- Satterfield also notes that the plan is to play a lot of guys this coming week and that there have been conversations with the defensive coaches that they need to rotate guys quickly to take advantage of the depth at the linebacker position as they continue to figure things out on the defensive line with the current injuries.
