Cincinnati will return to action Saturday inside Nippert Stadium for a week two rivalry game against the Pitt Panthers (1-0).

The Bearcats finished with 658 total yards in a 38-20 week one win over Towson - the fifth-best total yardage in FBS last week and the 10th best in Bearcats history - while Pitt is fresh off a 55-24 win over Kent State.
The Panthers finished with 570 yards of offense, led by quarterback Eli Holstein who completed 30-of-40 passing attempts for 336 yards.
The Alabama transfer and ACC Rookie of the Week completed 7 passes to wide receiver Kenny Johnson for 105 yards.
Western Carolina transfer running back Desmond Reid exploded for 145 rushing yards on just 14 carries. Reid also had a 78 yard punt return for a touchdown.
Defensively, Pitt finished the game with 5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss in the win over Kent State.
Cincinnati won last season's match up 27-21, rushing for 216 yards on 42 carries. Corey Kiner led the UC offense with 153 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
