UTEP WR Tyrin Smith commits to Cincinnati

Scott Satterfield and his staff added to an already impressive transfer portal haul on Tuesday afternoon with the addition of UTEP wide receiver Tyrin Smith. 

 

 

Smith is listed at 5'7" and 170-pounds but the guy can flat out play and possesses elite level speed. 

During three seasons with UTEP, Smith hauled in 123 passes for 1800 yards and 12 touchdowns. After briefly transferring to Texas A&M prior to the 2023 season, Smith decided to return to UTEP and ended up leading the Miners in receptions (71), receiving yards (1,039) and touchdowns. (seven).

Smith played just four games in 2023 finishing off his senior season with 19 catches for 191 yards and a score.

He comes to Cincinnati with one year of eligibility remaining.
