Sorsby completed 31 of 45 passes for 426 yards and four touchdowns on Saturday night in a 44-41 loss to Texas Tech.

Those numbers were good for career highs in completions, attempts, yards and touchdown passes. He added 52 yards on the ground to lead UC in rushing, too. His 478 total yards are the most by a Big 12 player this season, the most by a Bearcat since 2015 and fifth-most in school history.

Through five games in 2024, Sorsby has thrown for 1,481 yards and 12 touchdowns with just one interception. He is completing 66.3% of his pass attempts and his 165.6 efficiency rating leads the Big 12. His QBR of 80.6 ranks third in the conference, as well.

The lone interception of the season came Saturday night at Texas Tech when AJ McCarty returned Sorsby's attempt 51 yards for a touchdown.

The Bearcats have a bye this week but will look to rebound from the loss on October 12th when they travel to Orlando for a 3:30 pm kickoff at Central Florida.
