Sage Tolentino enters the transfer portal

Another Bearcat is in the transfer portal.

Sources confirmed Wednesday afternoon that 7-foot-1 redshirt freshman center Sage Tolentino has entered his name in to the transfer portal and will look for a new home.

Tolentino appeared in six games this season, which included a career-high five minutes against Detroit Mercy.

After initially committing to Auburn Tolentino decommitted and announced for the Bearcats following a move to Cincinnati, where he would attend Hamilton High school after previously attending Maryknoll HS in Hawaii.

Tolentino was ranked No. 144 in the Rivals Top 150 out of high school but could never seem to find a role on this team during his first two seasons.

With Tolentino's departure, Cincinnati now has three available scholarships to fill for the 2024/25 season.
