Idaho defensive back Ormanie Arnold commits to Cincinnati

Defensive coordinator Bryan Brown and his defensive staff addressed a need at safety on Saturday with the addition of Ohio State transfer Kye Stokes.

On Sunday, the cornerback position was addressed with the commitment of 5'8 Idaho cornerback Ormanie Arnold.

The redshirt freshman finished with 33 tackles and 2 interceptions this past season for an Idaho team that finished 9-4 and advanced to the quarter finals of the FCS Playoffs.

Arnold is a bit undersized at 5'8 150 but an extremely gifted athlete, who also starred as a wide receiver in high school. Watching film, his speed and footwork are the first two things that stand out.

Arnold will come to Cincinnati with 3 years of eligibility.
