Georgia DB Commits to Cincinnati

Cincinnati added to their 2025 recruiting class Tuesday night, earning the commitment of 6'4" 175 lb Cartersville (GA) defensive back Jordyn Woods.

Woods visited Cincinnati for an official visit the weekend of May 31st-June 2nd and ultimately chose the Bearcats over other offers from Virginia, Boston College, and Michigan State.

When you watch Woods on film, the first thing that pops out is his length and versatility to play multiple positions within the secondary to defend either the pass or come up near the line and stop the run. Woods has great speed, ball awareness, and shows the ability to make plays sideline to sideline, playing with physicality and aggression when making tackles.

The Peach State product joins Zion Johnson (Newton), Patrick Williams (Rabun-Gap), CJ Crite (Lincoln County), and Jahari Medlock (Riverdale) as the fifth commitment from Georgia to join the Bearcats' 2025 class.
