By Ryan Roberts

A lot will take place on campus next Saturday when Oklahoma travels to Nippert Stadium for the Bearcats' first Big 12 home game.

Initially, Big 12 homecoming was the only event set to be on campus leading up to the game. For each Big 12 Homecoming, Big 12 partnered with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit to bring students the Be You Women’s Empowerment series, presented by Maybelline. The series includes panel discussions focused on mental health awareness and is hosted by notable women leaders from each host institution market and SI Swimsuit models. Details for the Cincinnati event are below:

Thursday, September 21, 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. | Nippert Stadium

  • Participating SI Swim Models
  • Enna Selmanovic: Former Swimming Student-Athlete & current Neuroscience Phd candidate
  • Hannah Jackson: BSAA President, Track & Field Student-Athlete
  • Taylor Morgan: Student Body President
  • Katrina Merriweather: Head Women’s Basketball Coach
  • Jessica Davis: Senior Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete

The festivities will also include one-of-a-kind experiences such as a beauty bar, giveaways, meet & greets with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models and the chance to get a professional headshot taken.

The weekend grew even larger in terms of publicity and hype when FOX's Big Noon Kickoff announced that they will be in Clifton for the match up between the Bearcats and Sooners.

Big Noon Kickoff is Fox's version of ESPN Gameday. The show includes a preview of the day's top games in college football, plus detailed analysis on the Big Noon Saturday matchup. Hosts on the show include Urban Meyer, Reggie Bush, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart, and Rob Stone.

Next weekend will be jam packed with excitement and this announcement just amplifies the excitement and hype.
