Dillon Mitchell Entering Transfer Portal
Cincinnati's roster continues to get thin as junior forward Dillon Mitchell became the sixth Bearcat to enter their name into the transfer portal Tuesday afternoon.
A former five-star recruit, Mitchell was a big win for Miller last off-season. Mitchell averaged 9.9 points, 6.9 rebounds per game during his one season on Clifton. Mitchell's best game was an 18 point, 15 rebound effort against Oklahoma State in the opening round of the BIg 12 Tournament. Mitchell also had 17 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists in the Cats' season ending loss to UCF in the Crown Basketball Tournament.
With the departure of Mitchell, Cincinnati's roster is now left with Jizzle James, Day Day Thomas, Kerr Kriisa, Sencire Harris, and Tyler McKinley as the only remaining players.
Wes Miller and new General Manager Corey Evans will be tasked with a complete roster overhaul this off -season in what could be a make or break season for Wes Miller and his career in Clifton.
