Cincinnati Releases 2024-25 Basketball Schedules

Basketball season is almost upon us.

Big 12 Media Days are October 22nd-23rd for the Men's and Women's programs and both programs' full schedules were released this afternoon.

The non-conference portion of the schedule features away games against Georgia Tech and Villanova with the annual Crosstown Shootout being back in Clifton at Fifth Third Arena this season.

Big 12 play opens with an away game at Kansas State on December 30th before hosting both Arizona (1/4) and Kansas (1/11).

The Bearcats will travel to Waco, TX on January 7th for a match up against the Baylor Bears.

That four-game slate to open conference play against three of the top four teams in the league should give Cincinnati coaches and players an opportunity to find out early how they stack up against the rest of the league.

While every game in the Big 12 this season will be a war, after that four-game stretch, the schedule sets up nicely for Cincinnati to start stacking wins.

Cincinnati travels to Colorado on January 15th, before hosting both Arizona State and Texas Tech. The home game against Texas Tech will mark the first time that the Red Raiders will play at UC.

Following the two-game home stand, UC will travel to BYU and Utah for a Saturday-Tuesday road swing. The two Utah schools will travel to Cincinnati on February 8th and 11th.

West Virginia comes to Cincinnati February 2nd with UC traveling to UCF Wednesday February, 5th.

The final seven games on the schedule could play a big role in whether Cincinnati is playing for an NCAA berth or improving their seed line.

UC travels to Iowa State (2/15) and West Virginia (2/19) for a two-game road swing and then come back to Cincinnati to host TCU and Baylor February 22nd and 25th.

The final three games of the season include a road trip to Houston on March 1st, home against Kansas State on March 5th, and a season finale at Oklahoma State on March 8th.

Cincinnati women's schedule can also be found below.

With both men's and women's programs entering the 2024/25 season with momentum on the recruiting trail as well as with returning players, there is plenty to be excited about in year two of the Big 12.
