Cincinnati Football Announces Eight Spring Additions

CINCINNATI – Cincinnati head football coach Scott Satterfield has announced eight additions via the post-spring transfer window.
 
The newest Bearcats bring the total to 47 on the year (21 high school, 26 transfer). Cincinnati also returns its entire offensive line, 1,00-yard rusher Corey Kiner, and All-Americans Dontay Corleone and Mason Fletcher as well.
 
Fletcher's brother, Max, was previously announced as well in April.
 
Harris Adams (DL, Dickson, Tenn. / Southeast Missouri State)
Adams, at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, will be a bruiser in the middle … Played in 11 games last year with 11 tackles and had 18 stops in 12 games in 2022 … Redshirted the 2021 season and earned the Defensive Teamwork Award that campaign.
 
Max Fletcher (P, Melbourne, Australia / Arkansas)
Expected to serve as a backup this fall while redshirting and serve as the starting punter the next two seasons while he pursues his master's degree … Collected All-SEC Second Team honors from the coaches last fall, adding 23 punts of 50+ and 19 punts inside the 20-yard line for the Razorbacks … Tallied 59 punts and his 2,770 total punting yards led the SEC, ranking seventh nationally with a 46.9-yard average.
 
Trevon Gola-Callard (S, Las Vegas, Nev. / Southern Utah)
Played at Southern Utah in 2023 and University of Mary in 2022 … Played in 11 games for SUU, tallying 70 tackles, six pass breakups, and two interceptions ... Named All-UAC by Phil Steele...Two double-digit tackle performances, including a high of 12 stops against Central Arkansas ... Recorded 47 tackles for University of Mary in 2022, playing in 10 games ... Accumulated four pass breakups and two interceptions as well.
 
Jake Golday (OLB, Arlington, Tenn. / Central Arkansas)
Played three seasons at Central Arkansas, appearing in 26 games ... Played in four games in 2021, retaining his freshman eligibility, before appearing in 22 games combined between the 2022-23 seasons ... 2023 United Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honoree...Posted a team-high 84 tackles in 2023 as well as 7.0 TFL and 4.5 sacks ... Four games with double-digit tackles, including a high of 14 at Austin Peay in the final game of the season ... Had 37 tackles and 5.5 TFL in 2022 ... Former team captain at Arlington High School.
 
Xavier Lozowicki (OL, Ridley Park, Pa. / Maine)
Played one season at Maine ... Named to CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll ... Appeared in five games in 2023, making one start along the offensive line … Maine ranked 10th in FCS this season for passing offense … Attended IMG Academy in high school.
 
Jamoi Mayes (WR, Griffin, Ga. / Chattanooga)
Played at Chattanooga from 2020-23, which included COVID spring season … Totaled 123 catches for 1,963 yards and eight touchdowns over those 37 games … Breakout campaign in 2023 with 62 catches for 1,037 yards and four scores, including a career-high 70 yards … Helped the Mocs to their deepest FCS playoff run since 2016 … Was also a track state champion in high school and has collegiate kick return experience.
 
Cam Roetherford (DL, Detroit, Mich. / Arkansas-Pine Bluff)
Attended same high school as UC great Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner … Played two seasons at Arkansas at Pine Bluff, appearing in nine games ... Totaled 15 tackles in seven games in 2023, tallying 1.5 TFL, one fumble recovery, and one blocked punt as well ... Season-high three tackles on two occasions ... Blocked punt came in final game of 2023 at Texas Southern.
 
Francis Sherman (TE, Bay Village, Ohio / Arkansas)
Reuniting with Satterfield and former position coach Josh Stepp after playing his 2020-22 seasons at Louisville … Started three games for the Razorbacks last year and two for Louisville in 2022 … Joins a room that includes Joe Royer and Joey Beljan, among others.
