Cincinnati Athletic Director John Cunningham discusses details around upcoming New Heights Podcast

Prior to Cincinnati's opening round NIT win over San Francisco, Cincinnati Athletic Director John Cunningham met with the media to discuss Jason and Travis Kelce's upcoming New Heights Podcast, Live from Nippert Stadium.

Topics discussed by Cunningham include:

- Instant reaction to tickets going on sale

- The impact the event will have on Cincinnati's collective, Cincy Reigns

- How the event and idea came about for Jason and Travis to come back to Cincinnati

- How the price points for the event and tickets were generated

- Lastly, will there be enough Cincy Light for the event and what concessions will look like

"New Heights Live: We Gotta Talk About It," presented by Subway, will take place during Alumni Weekend on April 11, 2024 at 7:00pm at UC's Nippert Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Motivated by their desire to give back to Cincinnati and support student-athletes, Jason and Travis will donate a portion of gross ticket sales to Cincy Reigns, the official NIL collective of Cincinnati Athletics.

In a joint statement, Travis and Jason Kelce said, "We are beyond excited to bring 'New Heights' to Alumni Weekend to celebrate with the people who have helped shape us into the men we are today. University of Cincinnati and Nippert Stadium hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to sharing this fun night with our Bearcats family and the 92%ers."

To kick off the show, Jason and Travis have curated a series of challenges -- named for the newly-unveiled 'New Heights' trophy, the Vince Lombaby -- that will see two student body teams facing off – one made up of various campus athletes and one of collegiate academics. In a contest of both brains and brawn, this friendly competition will be overseen by the Kelce brothers who will act as commentators and referees for each event. The team with the most points at the end will be crowned the winner of the first-ever Great Lombaby Games.

Following the games, Jason and Travis will host fan favorite "New Heights" segments such as "No Dumb Questions", "Outta the House," "New News," and more. Later in the show, they will be joined by special guests to reminisce about their college days in front of current students, faculty, alumni and 92%ers from every corner of the country. With their comedic takes, love for the game, history at the venue and ability to entertain, the conversation will be a warm welcome home to the gathered alumni.
