Chamon Metayer Announces transfer from Cincinnati
It has been a difficult season for Scott Satterfield in year one of the Bearcats' transition to the Big 12. The Cats are 3-8 (1-7 Big 12) with Saturday's senior day match up against Kansas as the only game left on the schedule.
On Monday afternoon, the Cincinnati roster took a hit with the announcement that redshirt sophomore tight end Chamon Metayer was entering the transfer portal.

Metayer has battled injuries at times this season but is coming off a two touchdown performance in Saturday's 42-21 loss to West Virginia. Metayer has 23 catches for 258 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Metayer was a composite 4 star recruit and the highest rated commit in the Bearcats' 2021 recruiting class.
