Bearcats add to 2024 class with 3* Michigan Offensive Tackle
By: Ryan Roberts
Cincinnati added to their 2024 class on Monday morning when 3* Lumen Christi (MI) offensive tackle Aiden Pastoriza committed to the Bearcats.
Pastoriza committed to Central Michigan on June 24th but de-committed from the Chippewas this past Saturday after picking up offers from Cincinnati on September 17th and Northwestern on September 30th.
When turning on the film, you see a big, physical kid that should be a mauler in the run game. He shows great explosion off the ball and gets to the second level extremely well. The thing to like most about this commit is that he has the protypical size for this level. Pastoriza also doubles as a defensive lineman and shows great foot work and athleticism on that side of the ball.
Outside of Ethan Green, this isn't a roster that has many guys with similar size and athleticism that Pastoriza possesses. It is clear this staff prefers bigger, longer tackles and they addressed a glaring need with this commit.
Pastoriza is the fourth offensive line commit of this class, joining Zac Clarke, Jake Wheelock, and Jayce Mitchell.
