At Large Bid Bearcats Pod: 4* Duncanville (TX) PG Chloe Mann

Katrina Merriweather and her staff received big news last week when 5-foot-8 Duncanville (TX) 4 star point guard Chloe Mann chose the Bearcats over other finalists Central Florida and Seton Hall.

Mann, who is rated as the 10th best prospect in the state of Texas for 2024, is coming off a junior season in which she averaged 11 pts, 6 ast, 5 rbs, and 2 stls per game. The talented lead guard was named MVP of the Sandra Meadows Classic, one of the most prestigious tournaments in Texas, and was a First Team All District 11-6A selection at the conclusion of her junior season.

Her experience playing at the highest level should help with a smooth transition to the collegiate level. Duncanville plays one of the toughest schedules in the state of Texas and was ranked as high as 11th in the country last season and are expected to be a top 20 level team nationally this season as well. The Pantherettes feature four of the top 34 players in Texas for the class of 2025 and three of the top 22 players in the class of 2024, Mann included.

Chloe also plays for Sky Digg Elite and PlayerFirst on the AAU circuit.

Following a preseason trip to Austin (TX), Chloe joined the At Large Bid Bearcats podcast to discuss the following topics:

- What stood out to her about Cincinnati

- Her relationship with Katrina Merriweather and this Cincinnati staff

- How her parents, both former D1 athletes at Kansas State, helped throughout this recruiting process
