Arrinten Page Entering the Transfer Portal
The exodus of the Cincinnati front court continues as sophomore Arrinten Page announced Tuesday that he is entering his name into the transfer portal.
The 6'11 big man did not appear over the final four games and averaged less than three minutes per game over the Bearcats' final 10.
For the season, Page averaged 3.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, making 49% from the field and 44% from deep on 9 attempts.
Page showed flashes of what he is capable of during 9 points efforts against Texas Tech and Kansas. In the loss to Kansas, Page also pulled down 7 rebounds. Unfortunately, Page did not play at that level consistently enough to earn more playing time as the Big 12 portion of the schedule continued into February.
Aziz Bandaogo also exhausted his eligibility this past season, leaving Tyler McKinley and Dillon Mitchell as the only two remaining bigs on the UC roster. Given those expectations and the uncertainty of Mitchell's plans, the expectation is Wes Miller and his staff will look to add two bigs to the roster via the transfer portal.
