3-star Elder LB Derek Uran Discusses Commitment to UC

Cincinnati received the commitment of 2026 three-star Elder linebacker Derek Uran Monday afternoon.

Uran is rated the 44th best player in the state of Ohio after leading the GCL South with 9.5 sacks. His junior season stats included 75 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and two pass deflections. Those numbers were good enough for a Second Team All-State selection.
