2025 Toronto (OH) QB Zebulin Kinsey Commits to Cincinnati

The Bearcats have their quarterback for the 2025 recruiting cycle.

On Saturday morning, Toronto (OH) quarterback Zeb Kinsey committed to Scott Satterfield and his staff to give the Bearcats their second commitment of the 2025 cycle.

Kinsey visited Cincinnati on October 14th for the Iowa State game and ended up choosing the Bearcats over other offers from West Virginia and Oklahoma State, among others after being on Penn State's campus last week end.

Prior to a junior season injury, the 6'4 217 lb quarterback completed 21-of-31 passes for 482 yards and 6 touchdowns and rushed for 205 yards on 16 carries in 2.5 games. Kinsey also played defense for his Toronto squad and had 23 tackles, 3 TFL, a sack, and an interception.

When watching Zeb's film, it is easy to see why he was a priority at quarterback in the 2025 class. Kinsey has a big frame and pops on film as a big, strong, athletic kid. He shows great touch on the deep ball and has plus arm strength. Kinsey has the ability to place the ball in tight windows and looks very similar to Brady Drogosh when watching his progressions in both the run and pass game. Having the ability to also play linebacker on defense shows the Bearcats are getting a tough minded kid that doesn't shy away from contact.

Zeb joins tight end/wide receiver Kamaurri Smith in the Bearcats' 2025 recruiting class.

Check out the full interview below as Zeb discusses the recruiting process, what led to his commitment to Cincinnati, his relationship with this UC staff, and how he fits in to what Scott Satterfield wants to do offensively.
