Oklahoma State to meet Texas in the 2023 Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have earned the #2 seed and a berth in the Big 12 Championship Game following Saturday's 40-34 come-from-behind overtime victory over BYU.

OSU finished league play at 7-2 and is 9-3 overall. The Cowboys are designated as the visiting team and will occupy the North bench. OSU is making its second title game appearance in three years.

Texas clinched the #1 seed with a 57-7 victory over Texas Tech yesterday. 

The Longhorns will finish league play with the best winning percentage in the Conference standings at .889 with an 8-1 record and are currently 11-1 overall.

The Longhorns will be designated as the home team and occupy the South bench. Texas is making its seventh appearance in the Big 12 Football Championship - the Longhorns captured the Conference’s first-ever Football Championship trophy in 1996 and earned titles in 2005 and 2009. 

The game will be played Saturday December 2nd in Arlington at AT&T Stadium as the two teams square off at 11 am CST.
