It all came down to Saturday Night, two teams battling for the four seed in the Horizon League Tournament, and the opportunity to host the other team on their court. If Wright State pulled off the win, the Northern Kentucky Norse would be right back to Wright State on Thursday. Had NKU won, the Raiders would be visiting the Norse at Truist arena.

Unfortunately for Northern Kentucky, Wright State got the victory sweeping the season series against the Norse. Scott Nagy's crew took a 45-38 lead into the half, although the second half was evenly played, Northern Kentucky wasn't able to put a run together to secure the victory.

The Raiders were led by Trey Calvin who had 23 points shooting 6-12 from the floor. Wright State also got big contributions from Brandon Noel with 19 points and 12 rebounds, as well as Alex Huibregste scoring 19 points of his own.

For the Norse, Marques Warrick had yet another huge scoring game keeping NKU's chances of pulling off the victory alive with 39 points. NKU's all-time leading scorer continues his historic season as he tries to go on one more NCAA Tournament run. Trey Robinson had a nice game as well with 20 points, four steals and nine rebounds.

Now, Northern Kentucky faces the uphill battle of winning the conference tournament starting on the road at the Nutter Center facing this same Wright State team they haven't been able to beat yet this season. If NKU is able to pull off the victory over the Raiders, they will advance to the conference semi-finals at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Tip-Off will be at 8PM EST and will be broadcast on ESPN+
